  Application of activated carbon adsorbent in industrial Waster Water Treatment

  Activated carbon is a porous carbonaceous material with well-developed micropore structure and huge specific surface area. It consists of a number of carbon-based substances with absorptive capacity that can adsorb many chemicals onto their surfaces. So how to apply it successfully in industrial Waster Water Treatment?

  1. General Nature

  The appearance of activated carbon is dark black, with good adsorption properties, stable chemical properties, can withstand strong acid and alkali, water immersion, high temperature, density than water, is porous hydrophobic absorbent.

  2. Action mechanism

  During the manufacture of activated carbon, the volatile organic matter is removed and the voids are formed between the lattice and the pores of many different shapes and sizes.
